This week...

Happy Mothers Day to all Mummies and Mummies-to-be… Those of you that had sewing machines and overlockers on your wishlist, I do so hope you received them, have them out of their box and are getting acquainted!!!

News in Selkie’s Stash land, well it has been a fantastic opening week for Selkie’s Stash, and I want to thank all our customers who have purchased and shown your support! We are currently waiting for new shipments of Melly & Me patterns and Patty Young’s Modkid Patterns, including the newly released Kyoko pattern in a size from toddlers to adults.

Lastly we are also about to become a stockist of Nicole Mallalieu Bag Patterns. I am a big fan of Nikki’s patterns as the instructions are so detailed and I have found you learn new tips and tricks along the way. We will also be stocking interfacing and hardware kits to go with the Bag patterns, and being a bag maker myself, I am always here to lend a helping hand!

This weeks customer pic is from Amy at Boo Boo Dee’s & Feijoa Fusion She has made this stunning Matilda Dress using fabrics from the Riley Blake/The Quilted Fish’s Sugar and Spice Range. The body of the dress has been made using Sugar Floral in Red and the capped sleeves with Small Sugar Floral in Blue, and a cute brooch to go with, just gorgeous! These fabrics are available in store.

Have a great week!

Happy Sewing!
